Making this tutu was fun and simple. I would do this for a living if it there weren't a gazillion tutus for sale on etsy. I made this one for my granddaughter Evelyn who will probably hate it, but I hope she likes it.
I made another one. This is a smaller version for Elisabeth. Maybe I can take pictures on Monday.
I will say that if Evelyn does like the tutu, it will be my pleasure to make more. I learned how from this video by wowzzydotcom. How to make tutu no sew. Check it out if you want to make your own.

Sold!
Yay! Another one of my Scott Pilgrim hats sold. Time to get back to knitting another one which makes me happy. Such a simple thing, but makes me feel all warm and fuzzy when they sell. Steve was wearing the one I wore for Alicia the other night. I gotta say he looked really good in it. I must take a picture of him with it. He said the hat was really warm which is a given considering our winter is over. I asked why he was wearing it and he said that it was really comfortable. He's right about that. The Scott Pilgrim hat feels really nice on your head.

Stitch N Bitch Meetup 6/9/11
A wonderful group of women come to my home the 2nd Thursday of each month. I prepare a simple meal for them. They bring additional items salad, deserts, what not. It's a nice meal with good company. Then we pull out our current projects. It's show and tell time and then the laughs begin. Not about our projects. No, the laughs are all about the conversations. I have never known such entertaining people. By the end of the evening, my face is hurting from so much smiling. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside when the evening is over. Each woman brings an enormous amount of value to the table. I am grateful that we all were brought together. Big hugs to all of them.
I'm really sorry now that I didn't take a picture of the $64 small skein(?) of yarn. Maybe Valerie can bring it next time and I'll take a picture and post it for history. I, personally, think she should put it under glass for display. (g)

New Store Opening
People are finding me at the Etsy store and my Scott Pilgrim hats are selling which makes me happy, but I am a bit confused on the billing. I keep thinking I'm paid in full and yet I keep getting bills. My bad for not keeping tighter records.
Long story short, I'm going to try the new store at Meylah. They don't charge any fees, but I'm not listed either unless I pay the premium of $20 a month and I don't think I want to do that yet.
Meanwhile, I'm just going to upload Steve's bowls and stuff on this store for the time being and see where it goes from there.
The good news is that my latest Scott Pilgrim Versus The World Hat is completed and uploaded. It's available for purchase. Check it out and let me know what you think.
