Today's prompt is:

The spider was swinging from the ceiling.

Lizzie Kincaid has given up on love, content to live vicariously through the characters in her favorite romance novels. One fateful phone call from the oh-so-impatient Colin D. Blake tempts her to trade in her mundane life for a shot at happiness and a life she could never imagine. Lizzie is drawn to the almost-billionaire businessman, but she’s not quite sure that a small-town, middle-class woman like her could ever fit into his world. Her insecurities make it difficult for her to trust in their blossoming romance and his fearsome, disapproving grandmother believes that she is after his money. When a force of nature rips him from her arms, Lizzie will move Heaven and Earth to bring him home. Her love for him is powerful, but can it really move a mountain?
