Blood Moon by J. D. Davis

Genre: paranormal, thriller, romance suited for new adult (NA) and later. 
There is sex, language, and adult situations.

Zack wants to go to college and become an author. He blames his imagination when the first person he meets on campus has an aura for a quick moment, but as his first day continues, so do the strange events. Not only are there students with spectacular abilities, but he realizes one group has hideous plans that follow a prophecy mentioned in an ancient Sumerian scroll. As he discovers he too has special gifts, he learns the girl he’s falling in love with is the center of the conflict between good and evil.
